Nicole Carroll obtained a Bachelor of Social Science, majoring in Criminology, from the University of Western Sydney in 2001. Nicole graduated from Western Sydney University in 2003 with a Law Degree in which she achieved 1st Class Honours. Nicole also achieved a place on the Deans Merit List for outstanding academic achievement in 2003.
Nicole became an Accredited Specialist in Family Law in 2009 and practised family law in the private sector for a period of four years. She worked as a family law solicitor for Legal Aid NSW from 2007 until February 2016 when she commenced practising with Crawford Ryan Lawyers.
Nicole has continued her work as an Independent Children’s Lawyer. She has also acted for parents whilst working with Legal Aid NSW and has obtained extensive experience working on children’s matters in the Family Court, the Federal Circuit Court and the Children’s Court of NSW. Nicole has experience in Care and Protection work before the Children’s Court. Of particular concern to her is the welfare of children and the effect upon them of a family breakdown.
Nicole is also experienced in dealing with property matters for both married and de facto couples and is a highly experienced family lawyer who has acted in complex cases and enjoys an enviable reputation within the legal profession.
