Jon is a principal in the commercial litigation section of the firm and practices primarily in corporate insolvency, commercial litigation, commercial leasing and construction law.
Prior to joining the firm, Jon worked for six years with the Local Courts whilst obtaining a law degree from UTS. After joining MCW Lawyers in 1990 he was admitted as a solicitor in 1991 and was made a principal in 1999.
Jon was a member of the Executive Council of NSW Young Lawyers between 1993-2000 and has been involved in a number of projects with that organisation, including joint authorship of the Children's Court Guidebook. He was a committee member and Secretary of the St George Regional Law Society.
Jon is a past President of the Rotary Club of Miranda Daybreak and a former Rotary Group Study Exchange Team member to South East Texas. Current community involvement includes membership of the Miranda Musical Society and membership of the Guild Theatre Limited, of which he is the current President.
