Tax Audits
What You Can Do to Prepare

Proper documentation can help prepare you in case of a tax audit

The tax office has expressed the intention of subjecting more taxpayers to tax audits, and taxpayers should expect audits to become part of the normal tax collection system.

Proper compliance with a tax audit involves a need for proper documentation. Your solicitor can help ensure that you have proper documentation in place prior to a tax office call.

If the tax office disputes a tax return, this does not mean that it is correct in doing so. Your solicitor will be able to advise you on how to object.
