Cathy joined the firm as a legal secretary in 1983. She started her legal career as an assistant to one of the litigation lawyers until she took extended leave to travel overseas. On her return she had the opportunity to join the property department of the firm as a Conveyancing Paralegal. She completed her studies to become a Licensed Conveyancer in 1997 and attained her licence shortly thereafter.
Cathy is able to advise and assist in all aspects of conveyancing, including:
• Sale and Purchase of residential and commercial properties whether Torrens Title, Strata Title, Rural Title, Old System Title and Qualified and Limited Title.
• Sale and Purchase of Businesses
• Property Development and Subdivision
• Mortgages
Cathy considers it very important to advise clients on all the pitfalls that can arise in a conveyancing transaction and to be available for any queries her clients may have throughout the matter. She attends continuing legal education seminars to keep abreast of all changes within property law in order to be in a position to provide up to date advice. |
