Jodie joined MCW in June 2010 as a paralegal in the family law team while she completed her studies at the University of Wollongong. In July 2011 Jodie graduated and was awarded a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce. Shortly thereafter Jodie completed a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law and was admitted to practice as a solicitor in October 2011.
Prior to working for MCW Jodie gained valuable experience working in an employment and personal injury law firm in the CBD. She also volunteered at the National Children's and Youth Law Centre for 6 months prior to completing her law and commerce degrees.
